Match Masters Events: The Main List 2024

Main Events:

Main events are another dimension to Match Masters! Each main event has its theme, and you earn points from Tournaments matches you play for each event.

Events points earn you prizes along the way to the finish line and the hidden event at the end. Main events unlock at 3,800 Trophies.

Private Events:

Playing with friends is easier than ever; playing with friends on the Private tab on the events screen! In this event, You can now create or join existing private events like Tournaments, Booster Clash, and Match Rumble with your teammates, friends, and family!

These events will be changed daily to give you various options to test your strengths against your friends. As with any Match Masters game, you’ll lose your Booster if you lose in the event.

Top Masters:

Top Masters is an EXCLUSIVE EVENT for any player who manages to finish one of the main events while it is still running. This secret event offers upgraded prizes from our main events, so you want to take advantage of it!

Please note that if you have previously reached the Top Masters event, you will start the event from where you last finished. This means that any prizes previously collected cannot be reclaimed, and you’ll now work to get the new rewards.

Here are the Rules for the Top Masters Event:

  • 10 Medals – For Each Star Earned in a Match.
  • 10 Medals – Every Time You Play with a Diamond Booster.
  • 30 Medals – For Each Win While On Fire.

Seasonal Events: Embrace the Spirit of the Seasons 

Whether it’s sun or snow, seasonal events have got you covered. You can Participate in these festive seasonal events with unique designs and fun prizes! Stars are the name of the game – the more you collect, the more points you get.

Here are the rules:

  • 10 Points – Get One Star at the End of a Match
  • 20 Points – Get Two Stars at the End of a Match
  • 50 Points – Get Three Stars at the End of a Match
  • 150 Points – New Friend Invited and Joined!

Remember that you can earn plenty of points by winning tournaments.

Treasure Temple: Embark on a Quest for Riches

All you need are this event’s trophies; Treasure Temple is for you!

Here are the rules:

  • 1 Star 10 Hoters
  • 2 Star 20 Hoters
  • 3 Star 50 Hoters
  • One on Fire 50 Hoters

Jurassic Run: A Prehistoric Adventure Awaits

You can Collect these friendly dinosaur eggs by making special matches and scoring more than your opponent in the Jurassic Run event!

Using Diamond Boosters has never been so rewarding! Play with your diamond boosters in the glamorous Digging Diamonds event and get DOUBLE the event points in every game you play!

  • 3 Star – 50 Diamond
  • Five gems – 1 Diamond Booster activated

The most delicious event you’ll ever play is the Cookie Crunch! These cookie crumbs will reward you for any special moves you make!

Here are the rules

  • 1 Star – 10 Cookie
  • 2 Star – 20 Cookie
  • 3 Star – 50 Cookie
  • One extra Move for 5 Cookie

Color Circus: Unleash a Kaleidoscope of Fun

Color Circus is the most colorful event where you must match specific colors to win more points!

Here are the rules:

  • Make a Green Match – 1 Drum
  • Make a Yellow Match – 2 Drum
  • Make a Purple Match – 3 Drum
  • Booster Activated – 3 Drum

There are plenty of points you can earn from winning tournaments.

Booster Blast: Harness the Power of Boosters

Booster Blast is all about Boosters! You will get points for winning a match against each type of Booster – the higher the Booster level, the more points you score! Get your best Boosters ready for this one!

Here are the rules:

  • Beat a bronze/silver booster – 10 Spins
  • Beat a gold booster – 20 Spins
  • Beat a diamond booster – 30 Spins
  • Beat a legendary/SE booster – 50 Spins

There are plenty of points you can earn from winning tournaments.

Mutation Lab: Experiment and Explore

Get your lab coats on because it is time to enter a new Solo experience: The Mutation Lab!

In this Solo, you can change and reshape the game’s rules using mutations to reach fantastic scores, earn DNA, and unlock awesome prizes.

A mutation is a unique item that lets you change the game’s rules or gives you an instant bonus. Try to pick the best ones for your Booster and perks and the board’s position.

Remember, YOU have control! Mutations can be stacked up for an ever-changing experience. Every time you reach a mutation point, you will get an extra three moves to help you achieve the next mutation.

Every time you reach an end goal within the Solo Challenge, you will receive DNA points; those points help you progress towards the fantastic prizes in the Mutation Lab. Even if you don’t reach the final goal, the DNA points you earned will be accumulated towards your overall progress.

Be aware that winning the Solo Challenge and collecting all the DNA available in one try will save your Booster. However, more is needed to complete the entire Mutation Lab. It would be best if you played again to collect enough DNA for the final prize.

Cosmic Rush: Journey to the Stars

Strap yourself in for a Match Masters experience of a lifetime in Cosmic Rush!

In Cosmic Rush, You will board a spaceship with limited oxygen, which runs out over time. So check your oxygen levels and remember that prizes will be salvaged as you reach new planets by matching unlimited pieces.

In Cosmic Rush, matching four or more pieces will increase your oxygen levels to reach the next destination.

Your oxygen will halt for Booster activations but not for their secondary fallouts, which are Monkey Joo Joo’s skulls, Billie Boom’s bombs, All Aboards SE’s bandits, UFO SE’s balls, Vinnie’s hearts, and Brocco Boogie’s disco balls.

Before you embark, monitor your oxygen level because when it closes to 0, your Boosters and Perks may not be activated due to animations.

So Cosmic Cowboys & Cowgirls, are you ready for a Cosmic Rush?

In this mode, some boosters will act differently:

Vinnie Valentine/SE – Will create fewer hearts than in regular matches. Two hearts for Vinnie Valentine-SE and three for Vinnie Valentine.

Monkey Joo Joo – Will summon four Voodoo Skulls on the first activation and then one Voodoo Skull on the second activation and above.

Brocco Boogie – Will throw 2 Disco balls only on every activation.

Cleo Cadabra – Will throw only one Scarab on 2nd activation and above.

All Aboard SE – Each Bandit will throw four pieces of dynamite instead of six.

Stars

In Cosmic Rush, every Planet you have explored grants you a star! Please note that these Stars will be added without a post-game animation.

Perfect Heist: Plan the Ultimate Caper

To plan the perfect heist, you must collect the Safes within the designated number of moves. Each Safe collected will earn you a different one-off prize.

You’ll have a 15-minute window to plan your moves and maximize your score. All safes must be collected to complete this challenge, gain the prizes, and keep your Booster.

In this mode, some Boosters will act differently:

Vinnie Valentine/SE – Will create fewer hearts than in regular matches. Two hearts for Vinnie Valentine-SE and three for Vinnie Valentine.

Monkey Joo Joo – Will summon four Voodoo Skulls and one Voodoo Skull on the second activation and above.

Brocco Boogie – Will throw only two Disco balls on every activation.

Cleo Cadabra – Will throw only one Scarab on 2nd activation and above.

All Aboard SE – Each Bandit will throw four pieces of dynamite instead of six.

You can complete this challenge as often as you wish; however, collected prizes cannot be gained again. When playing solo challenges, you can continue playing it even after you’ve achieved the last goal so that you can get the highest score per game shown on the Leaderboard.

Stars: In the Perfect Heist, every safe you unlock gets you a Star!

Please note that these Stars will be added without a post-game animation. Available for players with 3,800 Trophies and above.

Score Rally: Race to the Finish

When zooming through the Score Rally, you must complete all laps by reaching checkpoints within a designated number of moves. Each Checkpoint you reach gets you a once-per-event fantastic prize!

In this challenge, you will have 15 minutes to reach all the checkpoints, complete the challenge, win all the prizes, and keep your Booster. Each Checkpoint will refresh your move counter. When starting a new lap, you’ll begin from the last Checkpoint you reached. However, if you finish a lap with additional moves, they will be added to your Booster’s energy.

In this mode, some Boosters will act differently:

Vinnie Valentine/SE – Will create fewer hearts than in regular matches. Two hearts for Vinnie Valentine-SE and three for Vinnie Valentine.

Match Masters Daily Events:

Multiple Daily Modes: Endless Excitement Awaits

These Daily Modes offer a variety of game modes.

Every day, the game offers several new combinations of rules and modifiers. You have several game modes to choose from where you can win Trophies and event points.

The daily modes have several options,

including interchanging Daily Modes to a random studio. Occasionally, you will have the Masters Club Daily Mode (eligible only for Masters Club subscribers).

The Daily Modes unlock once you’ve gained 3,800 Trophies and reach the Master Ranks.

Play Mode: Dive into Classic Gameplay

The Play mode is the traditional way to play Match Masters.

At the beginning of your matching journey, the Play mode will help you better understand the game and all the match-3 rules. It will also help you advance in unlocking studios.

Advancing through the studios provides new and exciting ways of playing Match Masters, such as in Dustville Duel, Sugar Rush, and many more!

After finishing all the studios and reaching the Masters League, you will have to choose “random studio” in the “Change mode” additional button next to the Play button, and it will randomly select past arenas based on previously unlocked studios for you and your opponent to play in.

Daily Mode: A New Challenge Awaits

The Daily Mode offers a slight twist to the traditional Play mode.

Every day, a new combination of rules and modifiers will be added to the game – you can still win trophies and event points by playing the Daily mode but with a little extra excitement.

You can change the Daily Mode by pressing the Change Mode button next to the Play button.

The game modifiers can include different speeds, new pieces, and exciting score legends, so you must choose your boosters and perks wisely!

The Daily Mode unlocks once you’ve gained 3,800 Trophies and reached the Master Ranks.

Match Rumble: Test Your Skills in Multiplayer Mayhem

This thrilling event lets you play against multiple players at the same time!

To keep yourself in the mix, you must avoid dropping into the Red Zone, i.e., the bottom scores.

Match Rumble is so challenging that your Match Masters skills will be tested like never before!

This event is essentially a social spin on our beloved solo modes, possessing a mixture of rules:

  1. You have a set amount of time, moves, and rounds to play with.
  2. To advance in the Match Rumble, you must complete each round in the green zone.
  3. The timer never stops, even on Booster activations and animations!
  4. When the timer reaches 0, you won’t be able to activate your Boosters anymore.
  5. The winner is the last player with the highest score in the final round!

Match Rumble winners will only receive the gift for their respective position, and only the Grand winner gets to keep their Booster.

When playing Match Rumble You will also win Stars-

10-20 Player

  • Survive one round – 1 Star
  • Survive two rounds – 2 Stars
  • Win the Rumble – 3 Stars

30-50 Player

  • Survive one round – 1 Star
  • Survive two rounds – 2 Stars
  • Survive three rounds – 3 Stars

In the Fresh Forward version of Rumble, each player who finished in the green zone will have their score reset for the next round.

Adventure Mode: Embark on an Epic Journey

The Adventure Modes will take you on a matching journey you’ve never seen before! You must Follow the path to the GRAND prize by conquering your opponents, winning a mix of challenging games, and collecting some treasure along the way!

Each adventure offers a trail with several levels to beat. Each level consists of a certain game mode that needs to be won in order to continue to follow the trail and win the grand prize at the end.

There is also a certain amount of lives given in each adventure. If you lose a match, you lose a life. If you have lost all your lives without reaching the top, the experience will be over.

Each adventure also has its theme and its sticker album! Completing adventures will help you collect stickers from adventure albums, and once you complete a page or album, you’ll get EPIC prizes!

Adventure Modes unlock once you’ve reached 7,000 Trophies in the game.

Tournaments: Rise to the Top

Tournaments are a way to prove how great of a Matcher you genuinely are. They are combined with different rules, game modifiers, and entry requirements (such as specific booster levels, entry tickets, or a coin fee). They also offer great prizes such as boosters, stickers, spins, event points, and more! All prizes and game rules can be seen in the ‘i’ and gift icons in the tournament banner.

When joining a tournament, you will initially be paired with a random player, regardless of the booster or perks chosen to play with. The tournament will wait to fill up all its seats before starting the game for all the contestants.

Each tournament is divided into blocks of 4, so if you win the match against your opponent, the next opponent you’ll play against will be the winner of the match in the same block as you.

Before joining a tournament, you will use the same booster and the same perks throughout the entire tournament without the ability to change midway through. Tournaments unlock once you’ve reached 300 Trophies.

Game Modifiers: Change the Rules of the Game

Many Game modifiers can be found in our tournaments, events, and daily modes. Each modifier gives a fun twist to the game! It comes with its own rules and can be combined with up to two additional modifiers simultaneously.

The rules for each modifier can be found by pressing the ‘i’ button next to the game logo.

Look out for different speeds, new pieces, and interesting score legends that will help you decide which boosters and perks you should use and what your next move should be!

Match Masters Temporary Events

Match Rumble Mutation Lab: A Clash of Titans

The Match Rumble Mutation Lab is an event where you can play against multiple players while the rules mutate each round.

Similar to the Mutation Lab solo and PVP Mutation, the Rumble Mutation Lab will introduce a new mutation each round, which will be applied to all players in the Rumble match.

Booster Clash: Battle of the Boosters

For the price of one Event Ticket, this exclusive event is the first of its kind. Event Tickets can be gained in sales or from prizes. Each competitor has the chance to keep their opponent’s Booster! That’s right, you get to keep the loser’s Booster!

This event limits the competitors’ Booster Tiers, meaning you can only play against same-tier Boosters. This way, it will be evenly matched and fair, as you can win an equally powerful Booster.

In Booster Clash, you won’t be winning Trophies, but you will be winning your opponent’s Booster and Stars and Glory!

Booster Clash is unlocked in the game once you’ve reached 3,800 Trophies.

Score Smash: Crush Your Opponents

In Score Smash, there is a dedicated game mode that can be played through the event. The score in each match is accumulated after a game and is then presented on the leaderboard as your Score Smash score.

The aim is to have the highest overall score so that the more you play and the higher the score you reach, the more points you will collect.

Your score is taken into account whether you win or lose a match.

This event is unlocked once you’ve reached 7,000 Trophies in the game.

PVP Mutation Lab: Face Off Against Friends

The scientists back in the lab cooked up something extra special for our players. You can find the Mutation Lab as a PvP daily mode!

You can play versus other players, and at the start of each round, you will both get a mutation in order to help you make matches and collect more points.

Win it Big Friends Edition

Unlike the regular Win It Big, in the “Friends Edition” event, you will earn a ticket when inviting a new friend to the game with the ‘Win It Big’ link while the event is live. Those tickets allow you to participate in our big raffle competition at the end of the event.

There are fantastic prizes to earn!

So remember, the more new friends you invite, the higher your chances are to earn those prizes!

Note:

  • A ticket has a one in ten chance of winning
  • Several prize levels exist
  • If more than one of your tickets wins, the highest prize level you’ve earned will be chosen to be the prize that you receive.

Star Race: Race Across the Cosmos

In Star Race, the number of stars you earn after each game is presented on the leaderboard as your Star Race score. The aim is to reach the most stars of the contestants on your leaderboard. You can find out more information about stars here.

Fire Starter: Ignite the Flames of Victory

At 16,000 Trophies, you’ll now be able to join our Fire Starter Event for the greatest winning streak challenge yet! In the Fire Starter event, the aim is to beat your opponents by winning as many games in a row as you can. This will be counted as your win streak; the higher your win streak is, the better your chances are to win the race! You’ll be able to see what position you’re at on your Fire Starter Leaderboard.

Whether you’re playing tournaments, adventure modes, or our regular modes, winning a match will be counted towards your win streak.
